Multinational Peacekeeping Training in Nepal
- continued -

Each nation was responsible for teaching a portion of the training. Here a U.S. instructor teaches one of the classes.

Lane three supervised, by instructors from the Bangladesh Army, consisted of training in route reconnaissance, occupation of assembly areas, and day and night patrolling.

Lane four, conducted by Sri Lanka Army instructors, presented a training situation in the protection of a polling booth, escort of ballots, and crowd control.

The Royal Nepalese Army again provided the instructor staff for lane five, which provided training and practical exercises in convoy operations, which included preparation of vehicles, security and escort. Reaction to ambushes provided a realistic scenario during this phase.
