The 28th Pacific
Area Senior Officer Logistics Seminar (PASOLS) was co-hosted by Fiji.
Col. Iowane Naivalurua, Fijis Land Force Commander and co-host,
welcomes delegates to the seminar.
The
Twenty-eighth annual meeting of the Pacific Area Senior Officer Logistics
Seminar (PASOLS XXVIII) was hosted in Nadi, Fiji, 20-24 September 1999.
The theme for this five-day conference was "Logistics Cooperation: Developed
and Developing Countries."
PASOLS
provides a dynamic, international forum where senior logistics officers
from Asia-Pacific armed forces can meet to exchange information that will
strengthen military logistics ties and foster cooperation. PASOLS also
provides the opportunity to pursue bilateral or multilateral initiatives
agreed upon between the interested parties.
