FOAL
EAGLE 2000 provided superb opportunities to rehearse wartime procedures,
to enhance unit readiness levels and to demonstrate the combined strength
to deter any threat. Despite differences in language and equipment,
the ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command confirmed that it continues to
conduct realistic and challenging combined training every day. FOAL
EAGLE, as the worlds largest field training exercise, serves as
a visible demonstration of the U.S. commitment to defend the Republic
of Korea and maintain a stable Korean peninsula.
