Highlights of the International Fleet Review included several performances from naval bands, an International Maritime Seminar, and a review of all participating ships by the President of India. The pageantry continued with the Beating Retreat ceremony held at the Gateway of India monument in the harbor of Mumbai. In the International City Parade, participating navies fielded troops and bands to march for an estimated crowd of over one million enthusiastic Indian citizens.

The Indian Army, Navy and Air Force highlighted the four-kilometer march along the oceanfront at Chowpatty Beach by providing aerial exhibitions at the conclusion of the parade. The air show featured aerobatics by the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team.

At the conclusion of this event, participating vessels steamed out of Mumbai for photographs and various bilateral and multilateral training evolutions.
