Veterinarians gave
dogs, cats, goats, and other small animals vaccinations for rabies and
distemper, a viral disease transmitted between dogs. The animals also
received de-worming liquid medication.
"The members of
the AFP are good, hard workers and they provided us with a lot of much-needed
help and assistance during this exercise," said Maj. Russ Weissinger,
a U.S. Marine veterinarian. "Were all working together to accomplish
a common goal."
