Although
this was the first such training experienced by our armed forces, the
Monogolian peacekeeping force proved it could meet the goals set by
the UN peacekeeping-related organizations. So, it is an attainable goal,
for Mongolia, to effectively train and prepare all our peacekeepers.
To this end, the first professional platoon of the Mongolian Armed Forces,
the "Snow Leopards", successfully carried out their missions
in the international exercise in Kazakhstan. They fulfilled their mission
and raised the militarys prestige in Mongolian society.

public knows that they can overcome any challenge and strain associated
with peacekeeping.
During
his visit in August 2000, The Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Command,
Adm. Dennis C. Blair, met all the members of this unit and expressed
his appreciation for their preparations for the peacekeeping exercise.
