The
Mongolian and American soldiers formed a combined unit and carried out
their assigned duty to control a given zone from an observation post.
They were especially vigilant during the refugee movement and evacuation
from a disaster situation. Their job was highly appreciated by the UN
observers.
According
to the participants, training was very profitable and was well-organized.
Now they are sharing ideas about what they learned from this training
and how to structure further preparations for involvement in real UN
peacekeeping activities.
