Members of the Mongolian Armed Forces "Snow Leopards" elite peacekeeping troops trained for one year to achieve international peacekeeping standards.

The platoon of the Mongolian Armed Forces that participated in the international peacekeeping training exercise CENTRASBAT-2000, held 11-20 September 2000, is highly respected by not only the armed forces but by the people of Mongolia.

One of the clearest demonstrations of this respect is that Prime Minister N. Enhbayar saw them off when they left Ulaanbaatar and greeted them upon their return. Moreover, President N. Bagabandi received them in the state palace and expressed his congratulations.
