JAPAN-U.S. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN EXERCISE

Japanese and U.S. military personnel formed 10 Emergency Medical Technician teams throughout Japan and Guam
to conduct a three-day EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN RODEO in May 2002. The purpose of the 6th annual rodeo was to evaluate how the teams met challenges in all areas of military emergency medicine, ranging from pilot recoveries to dealing with mass casualties. These photos represent only the exercise activities at Misawa Air Base, Japan.
