During the flying portion, morning briefings for all units, staff agencies and exercise directors kept a steady focus on each day’s events. These briefings included flight schedule changes, intelligence briefings, lessons-learned from the previous day’s sorties, airspace and safety notices, planned social events, and opportunities to participate in community relations projects. Each briefing ended with a summary of activities by one of the three national exercise directors. The lessons learned from the exercise will set the stage for COPE TIGER 2003’s initial planning conference.
