Simultaneously, training began for the After Action Review team, the White Cell (representing the UN and various civilian agencies/NGOs), and the Response Cell (battalion simulation and tactical controllers). The battalion staff used this time to set up the exercise command posts and become familiar with the terminals and software the staff would use to conduct the CPX.

Officers from Madagascar, Maldives and Mauritius served as UN Civil Police and UN Military Observers for CPX PEACE SUPPORT.
