JASDF and USAF maintenance personnel coordinate maintenance procedures during COPE NORTH.

Six F-15J Eagles from the 305th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the 7th Air Wing, Hyakuri Air Base, Japan, joined an equal number of Japan-based U.S. Air Force F-15s of the 12th Fighter Squadron for demanding aerial combat maneuvers designed to maintain a high level of readiness. A JASDF E-2C Hawkeye aircraft also participated in the exercise.
