Multilateral Military Law Conference in Manila

Delegates from 27 countries gather in Manila, Philippines, for the 13th Annual International Military and Operations Law Conference.

Manila, with typical Philippine graciousness, was the site of one of the largest multilateral gathering of military law personnel ever held - the 13th Annual Military Operations & Law Conference. It consisted of 185 delegates representing 27 countries and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The conference was co-hosted in Manila by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the U.S. Pacific Command, 13 — 17 March 2000.

Mr. Donald H. Wilson is the Deputy Chief, Antiterrorism Division of the Operations Directorate (J30T), HQ, U.S. Commander in Chief, Pacific, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. He was the security coordinator for the Manila conference.
